Final 4 is set, Kansas gets the last ticket

The Kansas Jayhawks demolished the North Carolina Tar Heels, they pressed the entire game, playing the ball out on the arc and closing up all the gaps to the rim, they played tonight like if it had been for the title, they are hungry and anyone that stands in their way will really have to step their game up to earn a shot at the national championship game. Last year’s early exit to Virginia Commonwealth in the Elite 8 round was considered a disaster, they underestimated a team that on any normal day would beat 10 out of 10 times, but that was the one time, they needed to be grounded. Kentucky is the 3rd team for Final 4

No, this is not Deja-Vous, the Kentucky Wildcats are back to the final 4 round of the 2012 NCAA basketball tournament, last year’s loss in the same round to the Connecticut Huskies left a horrible sensation in their mouths and they have publically said that they plan on redeeming themselves for that loss. Kentucky is an elite B program within the division 1 programs, they have make the tournament 9 of their last 10 seasons and have been the Elite 8 five times and the final 4 twice and at this point, they are craving a national title. Ohio State: second team to make final 4

The Ohio State Buckeyes have had a season to remember, through many ups and downs they have found a way to come together and rally past an unforgiving Syracuse team that was ranked #1. This is a great win for this team this year, having lost the most games during the regular season of any other team in the Elite 8. The Buckeyes never gave up and played with everything they had to beat Syracuse. Ohio State ranked 35th in scoring entering there Elite 8 game but put up 77 points to put away the Orange. Louisville Cardinals vs. Michigan State Spartans

Both of these teams have advanced relatively untested, the Louisville Cardinals are coming off two tournament wins against Davidson and New Mexico while Michigan State Spartans have taken care of LIU Brooklyn and Saint Louis although Saint Louis lead most of the game and it was not until the final few minutes that Michigan State was able to get a few easy baskets and take the lead, which can only tell me that once these teams are faced with a real threat, they will have a much more difficult time then most would think. The Badgers try and take down the Big Orange

They have made it to the sweet 16, this is a fairly new place for the Wisconsin Badgers that have been in this situation only twice before over the last decade, but they are convinced with the way they have been playing that they can take down top ranked Syracuse. The Badgers have not played the Orange in over 3 years adding the element of surprise to both sides as they try and prepare for this game, but do not be mistaken, the Orange have taken care of business all season long beating elite teams such as Marquette, Georgetown and Kansas State and they are very familiar with being this deep into the NCAA tournament, given that they have made it this far 3 of the last 5 times.
