Warriors try to win the series against the Clippers

This will mark the end of a 4 game season series where both the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Clippers have battled for supremacy in California. These two teams have had a great year, although it is unlikely that the Warriors will make the playoffs and the Clippers are practically in, they have played each other as hard as any game and being a semi rivalry given that they are both from the California area, dominance is important. The Bucks look to sneak into playoffs

Game two of this exciting match up, where we all remember the high score obtained the first time these offensive power houses met. The Indiana Pacers and the Milwaukee Bucks meet again in what will be game two of their 3 game series. Game one finished 125 to 104 in what has become the highest scoring game in Pacer history; while I’m sure the Bucks are not very happy that it come against them, they will have a chance to make things right again when they meet on Saturday night. This game is also important to the Pacers given that the Celtics are hot on their toes and could pass them up before the end of the season to that coveted 3rd seed in the East. Playoffs in sight, who will make it?

The final game between these hot teams has arrived; the Memphis Grizzlies welcomes the Utah Jazz to Tennessee for what will be the last game of the three game series this season. Down 2 to nothing, the Grizzlies are simply looking not to get swept by the surging Jazz who are coming off a back to back win/loose against the San Antonio Spurs. The Grizzlies are not a team you would want to sleep on; they have won 5 of their last 6 games all against playoff contenders, including two huge wins over Oklahoma City and Miami which has placed them in the running for a spot in the post season. The Detroit Pistons

Once known as the defensive team of the NBA, the Detroit Pistons along with some poor draft choices have simply faded away; they have gone from what once was a NBA championship winning team, to calling it a good season when they reach .500. Trading away your veteran players that commanded the ship to powerhouse in your own division just makes thing for your franchise much more difficult. The Pistons this season won’t even make it to .500 season, they are 14 games behind and with their upcoming schedule; seems like they are simply going to help others improve on the seed position for the post season. The Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers were brought back from the dead with the joining of all-star LeBron James who took them to the playoffs including a trip to the Finals but came up short every time, mostly at the hand of the Boston Celtics. Then came their demise, the day Mr. James decided to “take his talents to south beach”. They lost their edge, not making the playoffs the following two seasons and seemingly not trying to rebuild, they won the lottery for last year’s draft and got the rights to the #1 overall pick, so they decided to draft a point guard out of Duke University named Kyrie Irving, who has brought a new face and with it a breath of new life but it’s not all glory yet, he is no LeBron James, he will need some help if he plans on taking this team to the next level, again. The Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls have for the second year in a row been at the top of their game, they are currently the second best team in the NBA behind the Oklahoma City Thunder and do not show signs of slowing down. They have however been through a difficult patch with certain key player affected by injury, for example the tag team of Derrick Rose and Luol Dang, last year missed only one game but this year they have missed a total of 30 games. Although most would think that where their difficult stretches, they have actually managed very well, with their bench stepping up and playing huge in the starter’s absence; winning 20 of the 30 games missed. Celtics must win

There is no other way to explain the necessity of the Boston Celtics to win this game besides simply saying it is a win or go home moment. They had won 5 games in a row until meeting up with the San Antonio Spurs where they lost, but after playing exceptionally well for the first half last night against the Bulls, they blew an 11 point lead in the second half and seemed that they just never came out of the locker room. Orlando looking for their Magic

After really setting into a groove, the Orlando Magic have lost four games in a row and are running out of time to check themselves and figure it all out. They do have a great seasonal record but that is not enough and they cannot rely on that to win a Championship and now that Dwight Howard has committed to staying with the Magic organization, it is time that they filled up around him. This will be game 3 of a four game series this season, they are both tied at one win a piece but Orlando will be looking to make a little bit more of push, given their recent skid. Knicks must step up and prove themselves

Celtics look to rebound from hard loss

This will be the fourth and final game between the Boston Celtics and the Indiana Pacers this Friday, the Celtics will be looking to even out the score between this eastern conference team when they travel to Indianapolis, Indiana. Having won the first two games against the Celtics, Indiana was riding high, but on their third meeting Paul Pierce and the rest of the crew knew that they had to make a stand and win that game at home. This game will have a large impact in the near future given that these two teams have the possibility of meeting in the first round of the playoffs and an even 2 to 2 will give the Celtics a little added momentum going into a 7 game series against the Pacers.
