This round one series between the Spurs and the Jazz has been pretty one sided since the beginning, although the Jazz have had their moments, their lack of experience is obvious and making things very difficult on the defensive side of the court, where the Parker had simply been unstoppable these last few games. NBA´s most Improved Player

Drafted back in 2008 with the 21st pick in the first round, the New Jersey Nets selected a 6 foot 10 inch power forward out of California named Ryan Anderson. Anderson had played 3 years of college ball and was a routine starter on the team, then, after being selected by the Nets he played his first season, appearing in 66 games and starting 29 than in 2009 he was then traded to the Orlando Magic where he would pick up his NBA career deep on the bench. That season Anderson played in 63 games but only averaged 14.5 minutes and of those 63 games, he only started 6 which really put him at a low, he would push through it and always put the team first and it got a little better in the following year, he played in 64 games and started 14 with about 22.3 minutes on average. New York Mets look to strike first against the Phillies

These two teams don’t have the best of blood for one another, last season the Mets only won 7 of the 18 games they played, interestingly enough, every time they would play, the Phillies would either lose the first game and win the last 2 or the opposite, but they always won at least two back to back. The New York Mets are also going through a little drought over the last four games, after getting swept by the Astros and losing the first game to Arizona, they are looking to get their offense going a little bit more. Mariano Rivera out with torn ACL

He is referred to as one of the best closers in baseball and is known throughout the league as “MO”.Mariano Rivera has been the Yankees number 1 closer since 1995 and he leads all pitchers with 608 regular season saves as well as 42 postseason saves in his career. The Panamanian pitcher is known for his amazing slider and fastball; he has struck out more 1119 players and is the all-time leader in games finished at 892. Spurs look to stay perfect this postseason

The San Antonio Spurs are looking to not only keep their great playoff run alive by going up 3 games to none against the young Utah Jazz, but also to extend their winning spree that is now at 12 games dating back to April 12th. The Jazz must find a way to stop Parker or at least slow him down, it seems that the Spurs point guard is doing with the Jazz what he pleases and every time they try to double team him, he is able to find the open shooter for a duce. Miami Heat @ New York Knicks (Game 4)

Who would have thought the Miami Heat might sweep the New York Knicks this year on the playoffs? I think no one, because this was predicted to be one of the closest series on the whole first round matchups. The Miami Heat is just a whole galaxy, with a star on every position on the court and a bench that might be the starting lineup of another team on the league. The New York Knicks have played some of the most physical basketball during the shortened regular season but they have proved to be inaccurate when it comes to stopping the Heat’s offense and on their offense Carmelo Anthony can’t do it all. Hideki Matsui has a new home in the MLB

Nicknamed “Godzilla” because of his mazing batting power,Hideki Matsui was at one time one of the most talked about baseball player in the league, coming out of Neagari Japan, Matsui was always in love with the sport of baseball and he had become a huge hit in Japans baseball league, but in 2002 Hideki Matsui decided that he was ready to come to America and play on the worlds stage in the MLB. He was immediately signed to a 7 year multi-million dollars deal by the New York Yankees where the crowd fell in love with him right away. NBA Coach of the Year

Although this was a shortened season for all 30 teams, it seems that a handful of them saw value in that aspect, one of those teams was the San Antonio Spurs who have defied every and all odds with an aging roster to make an impressive run at the playoffs and a possibly another Championship banner for their rafters. Coach Gregg Popovich has been involved in coaching at the NBA level since 1988 where he started as an assistant coach for the Spurs, then decided in 1992 to accept the assistant coaching job for the Golden State Warriors until 1996. Hawks in Boston for game 3

This series is nothing new for either of the teams, this will be the 4th time in the last 6 seasons that they have faced themselves in the first round, last two seasons they have gone all 7 games. As always these games are high tempo and high tension, with Rajon Rondo getting ejected in game one and then suspended for game two, the Celtics had to find a way to even out the series in Atlanta after losing in their first meeting. Josh Smith seems to have hurt his knee and will be questionable for game three in Boston, which only gives the Celtics an advantage given that they are playing at home but will also be without sharp shooter Ray Allen. NFL Suspends Saints players for Bounty (Prt.2)

These suspensions will have an astronomical effect on this football club, although two of the 4 players are with other teams, the Saints are still left now in the worst possible shape, the draft is passed, they are without their head coach, without their GM, have yet to come to agreement with their franchise quarterback on a new deal and now they have lost the core of their defense. This is the worst possible situation for this team right now, but no matter how Saints players and fans feel about it, it is the right thing, you cannot let something like this just slide and these people need to be made all examples of so that these ridiculous actions never repeats again.
