NCAA Division II Football National Championship

Saturday 17th at 11am Eastern Time will be the National Championship game in NCAA Division II Football for one team it will be a chance for them to capture their first Championship, their opponents on the other hand has one win which came in 1991.

It will be Braly Municipal Stadium that will host the Championship game between the Warriors of Wayne State University who are the Cinderella story; they will battle it out against the Gorillas from Pittsburg State University.

The stadium is located in the City of Florence and is the home of the North Alabama Lions which is also a Division II team and it is also home to the Falcons of Florence High School and has a capacity of 14,215.

The Championship game has been hosted here ever since 1998 and is aired via ESPN2 and if you are not near a TV, but you have a computer you will be able to watch it via ESPN3.

For the Wayne State University it will be a chance to win National title for the first time ever, but they are going to face off against a more than tough Pittsburgh State.

The Gorillas are 12-1 for the season and the Warriors are 12-3, but they are on a roll that is more than impressive.

First of all they had to participate in the Regional Tournament where they first beat St. Cloud State 48-38 in Minnesota then they went to Nebraska to beat University of Nebraska at Kearney 38-26 and then finally they beat the defending champions Minnesota Duluth on the road for the third game in a row with a score of 31-25.

Then after winning those three games they were paired up against Winston-Salem State in North Carolina for the Semi-final and they won that game 21-14.

If that is not an impressive streak then I don`t know what is and though they might be the underdog come this Saturday I can guarantee you that a lot of people will be pulling for them and it might not be a bad play to bet them on the spread.
