One of the few positives of having several key players out of the lineup is it has allowed the Warriors to see how some of their younger players handle late-game situations.

The Warriors may have discovered a much-needed clutch shooter in the past week. Point guard C.J. Watson has hit the biggest shots in the club’s home wins over the Celtics and Raptors. Al Jefferson and Kevin Love played beside each other for the entire fourth quarter and all but one second of overtime Monday night, just as coach Kevin McHale envisioned they might when he swung a midnight deal on draft night six months ago.
