In this Armed Forces Bowl game we have the Houston Cougars against the Air Force Falcons having an interesting game at the Amon Carter Stadium, Fort Worth, Texas this December 31st at 12:00 PM ET. The game will be televised at ESPN.

Talking about the two teams we know with some accuracy who is the winner pick. Air Force didn’t make a good game during the season. I don’t have anything against them but, their statistics show a big difference in contrast to Houston.

Lets talk about the defense of Houston. Right now, they are in advantage because now Bryce Beal is playing and is making a really good job. He gained 1112 yards and also he scored 12 Touchdowns. That excellent performance brought this player he C-USA freshman of the year honors.

If we talk about statistics we see that Houston is by far in a better position in this bowl. In total yards they have 575 while Air Force has just 348. Is bad, but, where we see the difference is in the Passing Yards. Houston has a total of 429 and Air Force has just 81. If we see the rushing yards, we see that Air Force has some light in the darkness of the statistics. Air Force has 268 while Houston has 161.

We can clearly see that the difference is on the passing yards for Houston and that the clue to attack is the rushing yards for Air Force. Lets not talk about that difference that much. Air Force is not having a big advantage in the rushing, is just a little difference. But, what we can expect is a full air game by Houston. I suspect Houston will keep and strong defense, able to retain the rushing attack from Air Force. What I thin is going to happen is that Air Force is not going to be able to retain the air game of Houston and that is why I think that Houston will win the game by at least 10 points. For sure Houston is the pick for this bowl game.
