Titans try to keep playoff hopes alive… Tennessee Titans vs. Buffalo Bills With one team trying to keep any hopes of the playoffs alive and the other trying to figure out how to move past injuries and question makes this is set to be a very interesting game. Sunday December 3rd the Tennessee Titans travel to New York to take on the struggling Buffalo Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium, what makes this game so interesting is that the Titans look to capitalize on a hurting Bills team that is looking everywhere for an answer and Buffalo is looking to snap a 4 game losing streak that has everyone saying, what went wrong… |

The last meeting between these two team; was back in 2009 where the Titans got the better hand and came away with a victory against the Bills, so Buffalo has a little chip on their shoulder and that, at the point they are in right now, means a whole lot going into a game. The Tennessee Titans traded quarter backs at the beginning of the season; they wanted to go in a different direction, especially after firing long time head coach Fisher at the end of last season. The decided to take a chance, so they went out and got QB Matt Hasselbeck who has not been that bad, throwing for 2517 total yards on a 60 percent completion ratio, he also has 15 touchdowns and 10 picks on the year. All star and pro bowler Chris Johnson, coming off signing the biggest deal for any running back in the NFL has had the year he wishes he could just forget and star over, carrying the ball a whooping 183 times he has only gotten 699 yards with 2 scores and Nate Washington, th teams leading receiver has caught a career low 49 passes for 628 yards and finding the end zone 4 times all season. The Buffalo Bills started off the year in great fashion, winning 3 out of their first 4 games they had a new found high when it came time to play, star running back Fred Jackson was having the year of his career, running all over everyone, splitting defenses left and right, no one knew how to stop him, until the worst happened, he stopped himself. While getting tackled Jackson fell awkwardly and ended up breaking a bone in his left leg, we was then placed on the IR list and the news spread that he was out for the remainder of the season.. Since then, they just have not been the same, with only 2 more wins and 7 loses, QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has kept his end of the bargain throwing for 2549 yards and 19 touchdowns while being intercepted 14 times. (Most coming in the last 4 games) C.J. Spiller has the difficult job of replacing Jackson, Spiller has run for 170 yards on 40 carries and has 1 touchdown and Steve Johnson leads wide outs with 54 catches for 622 yards and 5 end zone celebrations. This is a must win if you are a Bills fan, because at the end of the day, you have nothing to lose, but to finish ahead of the Jets in the conference, as for the game itself accuracy is the key here, Fitzpatrick must hit his targets, but the offensive line must might struggle with giving him enough time to do so. The Titans playoff spotlight is not off yet, it has dimed, but there still is a glare of light for fans to cheer for, they must run the ball better, the Bills have an older defensive line, Johnson needs to get the fir under his feet back and start playing like last year if they are going to make it anywhere this year.
