These two AFC North rivals sure heat up the air every time they meet, and it doesn’t matter if one of them is playing great or awfully because when it comes to Bengals and Steelers, all records and standings are left behind and a real football game is guaranteed.

The Cincinnati Bengals had a terrible last season, so they turned their backs on Carson Palmer and took Andy Dalton on the Draft.

Dalton might not be the best quarterback around the league but he has shown to have enough quality to win games and lead a team, two things the Bengals lacked in the past, and they now play hard defense giving Dalton more space to perform.

If they weren’t on one of the most competitive divisions, they even might be getting the first spot on it. But the reality here is that they share the division with Baltimore and Pittsburgh, two high caliber teams that always aim to the playoffs.

This team has found a fresh start, with many changes on the rooster from past seasons and more important of all, a complete new mentality and energy when going into the field.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, commanded by Big Ben and Troy Polamalu, are one of the toughest teams on the league, and they sure play hard football.

This year they have not been that dominant and they also have some struggles, as last week, against the Chiefs on a game that should have been so much easier than it turned out to be, proving that they are not that great anymore, but they still put the wins on the standings.

The Bengals have averaged 335 total yards per game and 307.7 yards against, the have scored 23.5 points per game and allowed 19.5. The Steelers have an average of 375 total yards per game and 227.5 against, scoring 21.2 points per game and allowing 17.1.

This game has a spread of -6½ on the Steelers and the total set on 42½, last game between these two teams Pittsburgh won 24-17 but the Bengals blew up their chance to tie the game on their last drive, so that gives you an idea about how close these games are.

I’ll tell you to take the Cincinnati Bengals plus the points here and it will be even better if you get them +7 on the spread, and if you want to go crazy here take under on the total.
