Zenyatta is the New Breeders Cup Champion. The Breeders Cup took place this afternoon at the Santa Anita Race track, located at Arcadia California. We can tell that this result surprises everyone because the expected horse to win was Mine That Bird, but instead, Zenyatta took his place disappointing all the people that was following the previous Triple Crown Champion.Zenyatta is a horse that was foaled April 1, 2004 in Kentucky. We can include on the list of accomplishments that this horse is an American Champion Thoroughbred racehorse. Another detail is that she has an unbeaten 14 from 14 racing record defeating Grade I winners all around. Trained by John Shirreffs, California-based Zenyatta did not begin racing until she was three years old, making a winning debut in late November 2007 at Hollywood Park. She followed that up with a win in an allowance race at the same track on 15 December.
