Sunday Night Football Romo takes on Vick Sunday night the game that will be televised nationally at 8:20pm Eastern Time on NBC will be that of the Tony Romo and his Dallas Cowboys and they will be facing Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles. So far these two teams have not really lived up to expectations and to be honest nothing close to being a positive start. The Dallas Cowboys are so far 3-3 for the season, have won one game on the road and lost two. The Eagles had a more than disappointing score of 2-4 and so far they have lost both games played at Lincoln Financial Field. That is not what any team desires to have happened; one normally expects a team to at least win their home games. |

It is amazing just how much the home field advantage really is a factor here in the NFL because one would figure with Michael Vick going thru a rough patch with him throwing numerous interceptions and not looking like himself when it comes to running the ball. That would lead me to think Tony Romo and the Cowboys should be favorites in this game, but that is not the case. The Philadelphia Eagles are favorites to win the game by a small three points and the total of the game is sitting at fifty and a half points right now. The two teams faced one another twice last year, with each taking one win and the funny outcome was that both got their wins at the others teams home. The first game was played on December 12th with Philadelphia winning 30-27 in Dallas; the second time they played one another was on January 2nd with Philadelphia losing 14-13 at home. The only thing that I really get from this outcome is that both teams are at an even level of play and if the away team is to continue the trend this weekend, then go ahead and bet Dallas +3 points. |
