Monday Night Football will come with a game between these two powerful teams: The Green Bay Packers and The Minnesota Vikings. The Game will be this Monday, October 5th at the Metrodome located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Also, the game will be televised at ESPN and is scheduled to be kick off at 8:30 PM ET.

The Packers in my personal opinion and not taking in count the last performance and just the general knowledge of the team, they must fill every gap on defense because that is where the Vikings will attack first.

When you watch the Minnesota run game, the thing that strikes you is how Adrian Peterson can change direction at the last second. Defenses are showing a lot of run blitzes versus the Vikings, but Peterson has a rare ability to press the hole and then bounce the play outside as he sees the hole to fill. Based on this I really think that Green Bay has to focus all the their strength to show a great gap discipline and prevent Peterson from doing damage on cutback runs.

Aaron Rodgers is expected to have the better statistical game with a 250 passing yards and a 90 passer rating, but Brett Favre is expected to win with a 67 percent chance. The media attention will be on Favre, but the focus of the Packers defense has to be stopping Adrian Peterson. The Packers run defense had a good Week 1 but have not been good the last 2. If Adrian Peterson has a 100+ rushing yards (62 percent chance) then Minnesota should control the game winning 82 percent by an average of 12 points. If the Packers hold Peterson to under 100 yards then the Packers actually get the 51 percent advantage winning by a score of 24-23.

Green Bay has to walk the extra mile to prevent the defense move like an inch worm, and on the other hand, be able to attack with the offense as much as they can to prevent a loss in the game. Minnesota has the advantage but that does not mean that they can’t answer the game in a way in which they can revert the strategy of winning from Minnesota.
