Missouri Tigers take on Number One Oklahoma Sooners!

Come this Saturday the 24^th of September at 8pm Eastern time FOX network will have one of the better games of the day for us. Even though the game does not feature two top twenty-five teams the matchup I am talking about on the other hand involves the Top Ranked team in the Nation. And currently the number one team in the Nation is none other than the Oklahoma Sooners. The Sooners this Saturday will play at home and they will host the Missouri Tigers a team that beat them last year when they were also ranked number one in the Nation.

Though the Tigers last year managed to pull off a huge upset over the Sooners that win did come at their home Stadium and I for one don`t see Missouri even having the smallest chance of even coming anywhere close to beating them this year. The spread right now says that the Sooners are favorites to win the game by a whooping twenty-one points that’s three Touchdowns so it could get ugly for the poor Tigers this coming Saturday.

Missouri Tigers so far this year are 2-1 and in their first game which they won 17-6 against Miami of Ohio they looked terrible and lost throughout most of the game, but never the less they got the all important W, then when they traveled to Arizona to face the Sun Devils of Arizona State they took a disappointing loss in overtime with a score of 37-30. Then after that tough loss they came out and simply humiliated a weak Western Carolina squad that got smacked around and took a 69-0 loss, pretty sad for a team not even to score a single field goal. For the Sooners they are standing at 2-0, with an easy win over Tulsa in their first game 47-14 not much of a challenge to say the least, but their second game in Florida against the Florida State Seminoles was a different story. Both the Seminoles and Sooners were looking for the win considering that at the time the Noles were ranked fifth in the Nation, they ended up taking a loss at home with a final score of 23-13 and to be honest they only lost because their Quarterback was not sharp at all and his team paid the price for his bad passes.
