Great playoff game on Lambeau Field

New York Giants (9-7) vs Green Bay Packers (15-1)

Lambeau Field, Green Bay, WI

The New York Giants, what a surprising team, they are for sure one of the teams that makes you love them one week and hate them the next one, and let me tell you that’s my case. I never thought they will win so easily last week against the Atlanta Falcons but they just demolished that team, now this weekend they will have to face the best team during the whole regular season, the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field and this game will get tons more complicated than Atlanta, because Green Bay’s offense is just scary and they will find the endzone a lot more than the Falcons did.

The Green Bay Packers have been a great team all season long, with a little holes on defense but they have managed to win almost every game with a demolishing offense making disappear those mistakes on their defense. Aaron Rodgers no stands among the best quarterbacks on the league only one year after getting the Championship and this year he has used a lot more of his teammates qualities to get the victories on the field, and if you have players as Greg Jennings and Jordi Nelson downfield you have to love throwing the ball deep and see them score over and over again. They sure have to polish some of their defensive game but as they have done all year long, they can erase those holes with their exceptional offensive game.

The Giants saw how their quarterback took the team and lead them all game long amazingly against the Falcons last week, connecting with Hakeem Nicks, Mario Manningham and Victor Cruz smoothly play after play and when he didn’t throw the football, he had Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw running the football with outstanding power breaking the opponent’s defensive line over and over. But the Giants are not all about offense, because their power resides on a solid and implacable defense that breaks down the squad in front of them and just crushes them snap after snap with some physical and powerful blocks and tackles.

For this game the line has the reigning champions as 7½ points favorite and the total set on 52½. What I like here is the total to go over because we will have a whole shootout by both teams, and about the side, take the Giants plus the points because even if they loose the game they will be close on the scoreboard the whole game.
